Harkom BM-V Packaging Machine With Volumetric Filler

The Harkom BM-V Packaging Machine With Volumetric Filler is designed for free-flowing and homogeneous products. Its volumetric filling system uses adjustable filling cups to control the amount of product delivered into each package. The filling sensitivity depends on product density, particle size and product characteristics. The machine incorporates AISI 304 stainless-steel surfaces in contact with the product and an adjustable forming tube/collar system for package changes. Package length can be controlled through an adjustable mark sensor, while continuous printer monitoring can stop the machine in the event of printing errors. The film pulling unit is driven by an AC motor and the horizontal jaw sealing/cutting system is pneumatically operated. The BM-V supports pillow and square-bottom packages and can handle products such as rice, sugar, salt, lentils, sesame, corn, chickpeas, roasted products, black pepper and pet food, depending on product characteristics.
