The Harkom IM-A Packaging Machine With Auger Filler is designed for powder and similar products, using a servo-controlled auger filling system to provide controlled and repeatable filling. The filling quantity is determined by screw rotation, while the screw size can be selected according to the product characteristics and target weight. The machine has AISI 304 stainless-steel product-contact surfaces and supports quick package-format changes through an interchangeable collar set. An adjustable mark sensor controls package length, while automatic printer-error monitoring helps prevent incorrectly printed packages. The film handling system incorporates continuous tension control and coil-centering functionality, while the horizontal jaw sealing system is servo driven. The IM-A supports pillow and square-bottom packages and is suited to products such as powdered sugar, ground cinnamon, corn flour, red pepper flakes, ground black pepper, dried thyme, ground cumin, curry powder and other powder products. Optional equipment includes nitrogen filling, output conveying, vacuum belts, Euro/strap holes and barcode/date printing.
