Harkom IMQ-W Quadseal Packaging Machine With Multihead Weigher

The Harkom IMQ-W Quadseal Packaging Machine With Multihead Weigher combines an electronic multihead weighing system with Quadro/Quadseal package formation for granular products. The weighing system is controlled through an independent microprocessor and touchscreen and supports functions such as multi-dumping, automatic product feeding, self-cleaning and recipe recording. Weighing pans and feeding mechanisms can be configured according to product type, production speed and precision requirements. Product-contact surfaces are made from AISI 304 stainless steel, while the weighing components can be removed for cleaning. The machine includes an easy-change collar set for package-format changes, adjustable package-length sensing and continuous printer-error monitoring. The IMQ-W uses AC-motor film feeding, pneumatic horizontal jaw sealing and cutting, continuous film-tension control and automatic film-centering. It is designed for Quadro packaging while also supporting pillow and square-bottom package formats listed by Harkom. Applications include rice, pulses, nuts, pasta, sugar, candies, seeds, pet food, chips, roasted products and other granular products.
